Huts

The B.C. Mountaineering Club owns and maintains a number of huts in various scenic locations around British Columbia. All huts are open, but drop in visitors are not permitted. Bookings can be made online - select any of the huts below to begin!

Watersprite Lake Cabin

Located at the head of Watersprite Lake, this is the BCMC's most popular hut. Members can book 90 days in advance.

The Mountain Lake Hut is located high above the town of Britannia Beach where its alpine setting gives front door access to a number of scenic lakes and scrambling objectives.

The Plummer Hut is an iconic hut located in the Waddington Range and used to access a host of world class alpine routes and summits.

Nestled in the forest along North Creek near the Pebble Glacier, this scenic area is a popular destination for ski touring.

Norm Deacon Cabin

The Norm Deacon Hut is the BCMC's newest hut and is a family-friendly destination located just a short walk, ski, or snowshoe from the nearest road. It's located a short distance from Cypress Mountain Ski hill.

Kees & Claire Hut

The BCMC is an active member of the Spearhead huts society, which maintains and manages the Kees & Claire Hut. BCMC members are entitled to additional booking privileges as a result.
