Went up Zoa today. Skiing was pretty good despite the generally low snowpack on the coast. Skied right from the car without rocks or too much vegetation in the way. Snowpack is around 1m at the top. The N side of Zoa got wind-hammered near the top, but a short way down there is around 15-20cm of fresh fairly low-density powder on top of a solid rain crust. With the additional 10-15cm in the forecast for tonight/Friday, it looks pretty good for the weekend.
