I'd like to climb a couple of rock routes on Yak Peak (next to the Coquihalla Highway) this summer and need to know whether water is still melting off the top and running down the south rock face (facing the highway). Has anyone driven by there lately and noticed... or will be soon and can look? If so, please let me know what the climbing conditions are. Thank you, Paul :-)
Went by on Saturday and scoped it out on my way back from Canmore, yak check is dry. Still a little water seeping off to the left but the whole right side looked good to go.
Same question this year... P.s. I'm also curious about the ridge route on Needle Peak :-)
