KM Activity along the Lillooet River FSR
KM 2-37 Rough road. Attention to potholes required.
Road maintenance occurring as required by Primary Permit Holder (Squamish Mills).
KM 38.5 Boulder Creek HEF Tunnel Portal site is open.
Boulder Creek HEF Powerhouse/switchyard/tailrace site is open.
KM 39.5 Athel Mainline Road
(aka Boulder Intake Road)
Access road plowed to KM 3.
Boulder Intake – GATE CLOSED at KM 3 for Mountain Goat restriction.
KM 39.7 Drive cautiously in this area – especially KM 39.7 to Km 41.2 as this is a narrow section
of road (one-way traffic at a time). Please note the new traffic control lights in place
through this area.
KM 41.2 Upper Lillooet River HEF Commissioning is underway!
KM 42 Lillooet River Trail OPEN – Use at Your Own Risk!
Beyond KM 42 Access beyond KM 42 is not advisable due to avalanche danger
Avalanche Control and Snow Clearing along Lillooet River FSR
 Pullouts for snowmobiles are maintained. Please ensure vehicles do not block the FSR.
 Parking lots at KM 8.5 (snowmobile staging to the Hurley) and KM 42 (Lillooet River Trail) are cleared.
 Active and passive control of avalanche zones may occur along the Lillooet River FSR and the road can be
closed at any time for such control activities, if and when required. Avalanche technicians will block the
road on either side of avalanche control area during control activities and once the area is deemed safe,
the road will be reopened. Plans are subject to change.
