Additional offerings of AST-1 has been added for December 28-29th for snowshoers and skiers/boarders.  If you're waiting for the chance to take an avalanche training course, here's your chance.  Please note that many of the AST-1 courses offered by local mountaineering companies are filling up quickly for December and January.  It's important to that we are all prepared for our trips into the backcountry whenever and wherever there is a chance of avalanches releasing.  And if it's been awhile since you've taken your AST-1 then now is a good time to renew your avalanche training skills... that's why I'll be attending on Dec 28-29th.
