Brief conditions update on Needle Peak, Sunday January 25.

Slushy low snow levels but skiable low down. Half of party on snowshoes, half on skis. Like spring skiing.

Summit block incredibly dry. Climbing on foot / on rock the entire way. Like June/July. Tiny patches of ice here and there. Very high winds.

Very low snow year, good conditions for a winter climb of Needle.
