The holidays are here, time for friends, family, and powder skiing - however the last bit is pretty challenging when you only have one ski! On Friday (19th) I somehow managed to to do the unthinkable, and forgot ONE SKI in the parking pullout for the keith's hut/cerise creek trail.
I only realized the next day, and immediately took off to go back and find it, driving back up to the Duffy from Vancouver through a blizzard. However once we got there the pullout had been plowed, and we found no sign of my ski
Additionally, we forgot to bring up a probe to properly search the bank, so if ANYONE you know is heading up to Keith's I love to get in contact with them and see if they could probe the bank for me - it should only take 5 minutes or so. It would be an act of the most generous holiday spirit - I cannot go for a couple of days because I'm visiting family on the island.
But I suspect not all hope is lost! Perhaps someone, somewhere, saw it or even picked it up? Maybe you may know this person??
FYI they are yellow DPS wailer 112s with dynafits.
On a side note - I'm excited to now be a part of BCMC! I've been a member of ACC for awhile and having been looking eagerly at your trip schedules for awhile, so I hope to get out and meet some of you this winter - maybe even on my recovered ski!
