Pardeep, Bala, Oudi and company went up Sigurd Peak on Saturday 20, 2013. We hit snow at around 500-600 m in elevation. We started the trail head at around 8:30 am and summited a 2:30-3 pm. The keener group decided to take a short cut on the ascent which ended up to be too exposed. We ended up backtracking our way down to rejoin the rest of the group on the main trail. The temperature was very mild with very wet snow. We used snowshoes all the way up to the summit. Surprisingly it was cloudy with sunny breaks. We came back leisurely at around 7 pm.
