I am looking to resole a Trango S Evo mountaineering boot.

Has anyone resoled that boot successfully?

Is there an alternative in Vancouver for this kind of work besides   "Goldstar Shoe Rebuilding"

I've used Godstar with ok results. They aren't cheap, though. I don't know any alternatives.

I suggest you contact Quick Cobbler [http://www.quickcobbler.com/] to see what they can do.  That's my preferred local shoe repair location.  They're located near the south end of the Cambie Street bridge.
