Hello,

After a map found on internet about few last big trees in the area of Vancouver (Seymour)
I've started to search for them, but trails seems quite old and it's easy to get lost every 5m.

Is there anyone here who may have more informations about those trails in the valley?
Who will be up to restore them (if we can) or just visit them and do few research.

Thanks.
Guillaume

Have you tried the Vicar Lakes trail from Spur 4 road? The trail was in great shape when I visited last year and some big trees. There's one famous one called "The General"

Not yet!  Thanks for the answer (I'm just noticing it now)

I'll add it on my list :)
Cheers.

In the summer I also came across an old trail off of the hydraulic trail up to the needles, there was a beautiful grove of old second growth, or even old growth there about 15 mins from the bikeway.
