Do you know where one may find scholarships to help fund their education? I'd love to find (and win) a merit based scholarship that honours my time spent outside hiking, skiing, climbing, etc.

I'm an outdoor enthusiast, active volunteer (adaptive snow sports, ski patrol, Canadian blood services), and medical student. I'm hoping someone out there knows of scholarships that consider the cool stuff we do. Right now I'm tempted to drop rocks and mountains for the clarinet... or just sell my gear.
