At the request of members of Executive, from this moment on, I will be strictly enforcing the Terms of Use for the Website.

 

Personal attacks, false or slanderous comments will be deleted immediately without appeal, warning, or justification.

 

According to the Terms of Use, the Webmaster is not required to give an explanation or reason for the deletion of any content on the BCMC Website.  Furthermore, no BCMC member has any given right to have their content published.

 

On a personal note, as webmaster, I have faith in our membership's ability to govern their conduct and behavior in a manner that will make it unnecessary for me to exercise this authority.  To date, I personally have yet to restrict or take any action against the activities of any member on the website. 

 

As a final note, I would like to ask those who have been participating in the in-fighting and mud slinging on the BCMC website forums to reflect and consider what harm this may cause the culture of the club, how it may repel the silent majority who reads these posts but never participates, and how off-putting this in-fighting may be to to our members and prospective members.  

 

I personally find the in-fighting of late to be tiring and repulsive, and am ready to take a strong stand against it as I have been directed to do.
