Hi BCMC'ers!
I'm joining an imminent club trip down to Red Rocks, and am in need of some gear.
I know that some people are protective of their gear, and I understand that, but I'm sending this message out hoping there will be someone with some scratched-up-enough gear that they are happy to loan to me. I'm looking for:
- One light rack to supplement my partners half rack
- Double ropes OR a tag/rap line. E.g. a 50m or so length of cord so that we can still rappell long routes with a single rope.
For your interest, I have in Australia a full rack (and then some!) which I have had and climbed with for nearly 10 years, I have double ropes, I have many things - but I am new here to Canada, arrived after a round the world trip so only have what gear I could travel around with. My folks are coming in May, and they will be bringing what they can, but this Red Rocks trip is next week!
So, if you are feeling charitable and can help me out with any of the above, I would be grateful and of course give you my assurance to take the best care of your gear, and to replace anything that may get damaged.
