Did a recon on Saturday Oct 15 on the seracs on Mt. Baker. I arrived at the parking lot with no one on sight. The Ranger Office was closed due to the storm. I decided to press on anyway. It was not bad at all, rain with a breeze. What got me worried was the  car creek crossings.

Creek crossing on the trail were all in good shape. The snow level is around 1500 m at the climbers trail junction with 3-5 cm of snow.
