So we are heading up to mountain lake this week.  Assuming all the gates are locked where is the best access for bike / foot.  Is the Furry Creek connector shown on Bivouac a viable route (the trip reports are not  clear)

All good, have a found a recent trip report that recommends the Furry Creek FSR.

The two Furry Creek connectors were both massively deactivated. You could still hike over them but it would be difficult to carry a bike.
