February 7-8, 2015 -- Alex and I headed out to Gott Creek to explore the area and also to escape the bad weather system. The road was very icy and few spots were bare of snow. It was very long approach to the camp. Saturday's weather was bad as the temperature was warm and few cornices breakage. Sunday's temperature dropped down and the thaw and freezing cycle helped for a safe skiing on a supportive crust. We bagged and skied Michelle and Blue Jays Peaks but aborted to Mount Russell, we couldn't find a safe descent to the col in low visibility.
