Hello!

So I lent a friend my msr access 2 tent, and they lost the crossing pole (runs perpendicular to the length of the tent and down to the ground at an approx 90deg angle)...

 It has bent corners, so I can’t use the standard replacement poles available. 

Any recommendations or advice on ordering specialty poles from MSR or another generic brand?

If you're an MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) member, or become one, you can ask the staff at the Member Services Desk for advice.  MEC sells MSR tents and might be able to special order in a replacement pole for you.  Paul O :-)

Contact MSR.  They have been great with me in the past with gear issues.....Then get your friend to pay for the replacement.
