Has  anyone here driven  Salal Creek FSR this year?   we are heading to Salal Creek/Athelney Pass area in a couple of weeks. Thanks for any info you might give. will update the condition when we come back!

I was  in  Athelney pass  Aug 14-17 .

- Lillooet FSR in good condition. 

- Salal FSR in good condition.    Any AWD/4WD should be able to make it to trail head  (about 6.5km from intersection with Lillooet FSR). 

High clearance 2WD would likely work too.

Do you have GPS WPX for Athelney Pass?  

(I realize that it is straightforward in/out based on map, but I have read that the first section trail route finding can be confusing due to flagging.)

I do have waypoints.    (still on GPS and need some cleaning up)

You are correct - the first part of the trail is confusing. 

I did improve on the flagging a bit but then ran out of tape.
