Hi there,

My name is Michel and I just bought a GPSMAP 67i.

I was wandering if there're people out there familiar with it I could pick their brain to be more familiarized with this little beast.

Cheers,

Michel

Hello Michel,

In the past I taught quite a few GPS Operations and Data Transfer workshops for the BCMC.  Been quite few years since I taught the course/workshop, but when I have some free time, I could provide some tips and instruction to you.

If there are any others that would be interested in me hosting/teaching another workshop, please chime in, which would give me a sense of potential interest.

Cheers,

Chris Ludwig

Hi Chris,

Thanks for replying to my message.

That'd fantastic if you have some times. I'm learning with the internet and YouTube resources but going through general view and how to use the GPS will be great.

Let me know when you'll have time, I live in Vancouver and can easily meet you at a convenient place.

Cheers. Michel

Hi Michel,

Sorry for the slow reply.  I got bogged down with other matters.

I live in Tsawwassen, which is a little ways from you.  If there is a day you are somewhere in between Vancouver and Tsawwassen that might work.  Busy Tuesday and Wednesday this week, but Thursday and Friday might work.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris,

It is indeed quite a way from Vancouver. I'm going to keep going for now with the owner manual and YouTube videos.

I met another person who can potentially help me too.

Thanks again for your time,

Cheers!

Michel
