The 2012-13 executive team is looking for a Socials Chair volunteer. As the Socials Chair you will be responsible for organizing the monthly BCMC Socials (except July and August). We currently have a volunteer, Bruce Cassel, taking care of the food and refreshments at the monthly socials, so your initial focus would consist of finding interesting speakers/presenters for the upcoming Social events.

As a member of the executive team, you are expected to attend the executive team members held on the first Tuesday of each month (except Jukly and August).

The Socials chair is still waiting a volunteer if anyone is interested in helping improve our socials and has time to attend executive meetings.

Hey Carson, I'm away and won't be at the social tonight, but do talk to others about your interest. We should touch base after feb 13 and talk about it. currently I'm the one playing the Socials Chair role, with great assistance from Bruce Cassels and Doug Lonsbrough. You should talk to Bruce and Doug tonight If you can.

Hey Francis, I didn't get to talk to those guys tonight at the social but would like to hear from you just about what the role entails and how you are going about it right now regarding organizing speakers and such, and consider and think if it's something I think I can handle.

Hey Carson,

I just got back and will be in touch with you by email shortly. I need to also talk with Doug as he's been involved with Socials for a short time and is figuring out how he can help. Bruce has been taking care of the catering for several years and is doing a great job at it. With your help we can have a cracker jack team for Socials!!!

We have room for more volunteers in several areas. Spread the word!!! :)
