Ski shop company Evo has bought the Callaghan Country Lodge.
This could create an opening to address parking and backcountry access issues in the Callaghan Valley. I noticed that the Alexander Falls overnight parking area was frequently overflowing last winter, with dozens of vehicles parked along the side of the road. With continued growth in backcountry skiing and COVID-19 staying around, I expect that we will see more of the same this coming winter.
