What's a good spot for dry tooling up to 3h drive from Vancouver? Thanks.

sullys hangout is good, while not stricly drytooling it is bolted, and chossy. to reduce the impact and ire of sport climbers who think putting bolts in is different that scratching a little bit i often use rockshoes as crampons make 90% of the noticeable scratches.

roadcuts are also good fun

Thanks for the tip. Now I have to find some like minded climbers to get out and scratch a bit of rock :)

I saw a picture of someone drytooling at cocodemon boulder. I did a route in lynn valley but it was crappy. Find a wall that has nice pockets for picks placements. Adi, I'm up for night session, as well

Night sessions during the week may be tricky for me as I climb at the gym 2 - 3 times during the week. I'll try to organize something for next Thursday, or the week after. Watch this forum thread.
