Terrible day! Pouring rain at the parking lot, the road and parking lot were a sheet of wet ice (could barely stand up), and the other truck for the trip went into the ditch on the way up (no chains). A local told us that he'd just skied down and that it was raining at the top. We didn't bother checking it out as it seemed warmer than the forecast had called for. The trail up was a sheet of ice and didn't look like fun at all. Called it quit and drove home. You win some and lose some...
