Are you interested in helping promote the club via social media? I'm currently looking for a communications minded person to take on a small role to help promote the club through multiple channels. We've got a Facebook page in its infancy as well as the potential to more broadly promote the website, trips, and socials via other websites such as ClubTread and community calendars.

Most of the news content is already collected and aggregated automatically onto the club Facebook page. My current idea is that having a 'human' behind the page will help increase engagement. We're looking at broadening our channels of contact to draw in and engage more members as well as newcomers.

I'm open to all new ideas. Twitter? Meetup? Online ads?
