Hi all,

I am new to the BCMC and thought I would try the forums for some info on the BP trail. A friend and I are hiking it in sections, (starting in Deep Cove) this summer. We finished at Grouse last month and are trying to go to Cypress or further this month but we are having trouble getting good info on route and access points for the next section. Our plan is to bus to Grouse and then continue the trail west. We don't own cars so we will need to stop the hike somewhere where we can get picked up by a cab, walk out to transit and/or pick up a car share. What do you recommend in terms of distance, timing and access points? 

Also, I note from a previous post that Cypress is blocking access to their section. Is that just in the winter? Should we expect to pay a fee to cross "their" portion of the trail? Will they send us back towards Grouse? That would be annoying!

Any tips you can offer would be appreciated.
