Looking at doing Athelney Pass and was hoping to see if anyone has done it/ completed it recently.
From the multiple blogs I have read it sounds like a slow hike/ bushwhack to the old mining hut (15KM, 800M) however I was looking for some further information:
1) How is the logging/ FSR getting to the trail head. High clearance 4 X 4 only or what is the state of it.
2) Does anyone else have any GPX files of routes they have done? I have pulled an old one from Clubthread (link below) however more info would be awesome.
3) Other side missions once you are up there. I've seen some suggestions of doing The Elephant, Salal Peak, Red Tail and Ochre Peak however other suggestions are welcome.
4) General hints/ comments as well. Not a ton info out there so everything helps.
