I would break the trail clearing on two stages (it's probably doable in one day with ten people)

1) 3km of partially overgrown logging road to parking lot require cutting branches and small trees. Nothing bad, just scratchy for trucks.

2) around 5km of partially overgrown logging road with dense patches of small trees from parking lot to forest line.
