This will be a meet and greet/training overnighter for anyone interested in joining the Atwell Trips (other individuals not interested in Atwell are welcome to join us if they wish). We will tour to the top of Paul Ridge, demo each persons transceiver skills (some time spent on brushing up if necessary), demo each persons crevasse rescue skills (basics only), evaluate team equipment, demo each persons snow anchor skills, demo glacier travel skills, and finally belay skills. Trip will proceed rain/shine/or poor avalanche conditions.

*all participants must bring a shovel and transceiver as minimum equipment (and a probe is highly recommended)

*Note that there is a $5/night charge for camping in the park (parking is included in that charge)
