Trip Description

Oct 29/30: The idea is start early on Saturday, go light, travel around the west side of Mt. Seymour along a portion of the Indian Arm Trail and stay at the Elsay Lake cabin; GPS/flagging the route down from Vicar Lake. The idea is then on Sunday to spend more time brushing and clearing the 1 h missing connection between Vicar Lake and Elsay Lake for those who like working on trails/routes, while those who want to climb Mt. Bishop can do that. Return is via the regular Elsay Lake trail.

Trip will only go if the weather and bush are (relatively) dry and there hasn't been any snow yet at the Mt. Seymour level.

This is for strong hikers only who are confident side gouging on steep forest slopes. Bring hiking poles and/or ice axe, and what have you to clip away at vegetation.
