Trip Description

A day trip across the border to the seracs on the Lower Coleman Glacier for some ice climbing practice ahead of winter.

Bring your passport. Consider U.S. medical insurance coverage.

If we have not climbed together before, and you want to receive a response, please include a brief outline of your previous experience climbing waterfall ice, including the grades at which you are able to lead and follow.

We will work out car-pooling and shared gear closer to the date.

This is a novice friendly trip. However, you must have your own personal climbing gear, i.e.: crampons, harness, helmet, biners, preferrably ice tools (rent, beg, steal)

THIS IS NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL COURSE, NOR IS IT SUITABLE FOR FIRST-TIME ICE CLIMBERS.
