Early season rock climbing on fine basalt in Eastern WA state. The climbs are all single pitch, up steep basalt towers, mostly along sport routes. There are many routes suitable for beginners to intermediate climbers (5.7 to 5.10).

The plan is to leave early morning on Friday, drive to the crags picking-up some groceries in Ellensburgh along the way and start climbing by early afternoon. We'll be camping at the crags -- free camping.

Required equipment:

All personal gear, including harness, belay device with locking biner, shoes, helmet. Camping gear.

Ropes, slings, and leader gear to be sourced from the various trip participants -- the BCMC does not supply any gear for this trip.

Don't forget your passport in order to get into the USA.
