If you have been coming on club trips for a year and are thinking about leading backcountry ski or snowshoe courses, this course if for you. The course curriculum has been prepared by Frank Baumann. He has been teaching avalanche courses and consulting on avalanche safety for over 25 years.

Saturday: All you need is a pen and paper to take some notes. Event will be at North Shore Alliance Church 201 East 23rd North Vancouver 9:15 am.

Sunday: We plan to go to Paul Ridge in Garibaldi Park to get some field experience. You will need your skis or snowshoes and basic day trip stuff.

A small donation of about $10 per person for the room rental and to pay for Frank's gas money will be required on Saturday.
