Climb of 1500 feet of moderate (45 degrees) snow and alpine ice, with possible section of WI2 ice or exposed snow traverse (60 degrees) near summit.

Approach via Magnesia Creek drainage. Descent via hiking trail.

Group size limited to six.

• Mandatory climbing equipment: helmet, harness, ice axe, crampons, belay device

• Mandatory safety equipment: avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, headlamp

• Shared equipment: rope, ice screws, pickets, GPS, SPOT

• Recommended equipment: pair of ice tools, snowshoes

• Mandatory skills: avalanche rescue, self-arrest, running & fixed belays, snow & ice anchors, rappelling
