In the spring of 2010 Helen Habgood joined her partner Ed Fischer in the Trans Himalayan region of Ladakh to help him continue his search for the elusive snow leopard.

Although the content of their unique slide show is primarily concerned with this trip, highlights of Ed’s search spanning a period of 25 years and a number of different Himalayan regions are also featured. Ed is currently writing a book called “Chasing the Phantom.”

Socials are held at the ANZA Club at #3 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. on the second Tuesday of every month (except July and August) at 7:30 p.m.  Meetings are free and open to everybody.  A slide show and cookies, cheese & crackers, and tea are included.  (Please bring your own mug.)
