A sex-discriminatory, girls-only trip on the classic traverse following the Fitzsimmons Creek horseshoe.  The thinking behind this is that a lot of girls think that this is beyond their abilities (physical or other) or that they won't go becasue if the guys are present, the pace is too fast and the traverse too hard.

Starting from Blackcomb, finishing at Whistler. We will use the Blackcomb gondola and chairlifts to access the backcountry (approx. $40 cost for the backcountry ski pass).

Previous backcountry skiing (with a overnight backpack) and winter camping experience required. You need to be equipped with avi gear and know how to use it.
