Moderate ice climbing in Box Canyon (off of the Coquihalla Highway).
If ice conditions are good in February, could turn into a two-day trip (either camp overnight or stay in Hope) - Box Canyon is about 2-3 hours of driving time from Vancouver.
Needs stable snow conditions due to avalanche slopes above climbs.
Plan on skis or snowshoes for the approach to the climbs (up to two hours).
See pages 114-116 of the Serl guidebook (2nd ed.).
