The idea is to check out the glacier and the little ice walls.
I had my eyes on them last season and would like to try some late-season ice climbing if possible. No previous ice climbing experience or gear needed.
Other than that, just doing some laps around the Spearhead Glacier and enjoying the views.
We're taking the lift up, so a WB backcountry pass is needed.
Expect 800-1400m of elevation gain, moderate pace. We'll be skiing down the Corona Bowl, so the ability to ski down black runs in any condition is essential.
Helmet mandatory for the ice climbing part.
