Reggae wall is a beautiful crag with perma draws on the harder routes so you can push yourself without worrying about leaving gear behind. Early Start to the day.
Requirements:
Crag is mostly 5.11 routes with a few 5.10 and 5.12 routes. So you should be able to at least top rope 5.11- in order to enjoy this area. You should also be able to clean anchors and give a soft catch.
Gear: Harness, rock shoes, chalk bag, and belay device, personal anchor system, anchor material, rope, ~12 quick draws, . We will discuss shared gear in the chat (rope, anchor material, and draws).
Food/Drinks : Bring enough food and water for ~6 hours at the crag (~2 or 3L of water, snacks, lunch... maybe a second lunch).
Time: We will meet at East Guildford Park and Ride (https://en.parkopedia.ca/parking/lot/east_guildford/v4n/surrey/?arriving=202405171030&leaving=202405171230) at 7:00am. Expect to return at the Approx by 3:00pm. We will carpool at this location.
Weather, Route Info:
We will be climbing if the rock is dry. If no heavy rain the day prior and 40% or less chance of precipitation
