This trip is a Friends and Family Day for those in the Mentorship Program—a relaxed, casual day to share your knowledge and enjoy time in the mountains with someone important to you.

If you’ve participated as a mentee, you’re invited to bring a friend, partner, or family member for a fun and supportive day out.

Guest requirements:

• AST 1 certification
• All personal gear and the ability to use it confidently
• Decent fitness for a day of touring
• Level 5–6 downhill ability in off-piste terrain

This is meant to be a low-pressure, welcoming day—not a formal or “large-and-in-charge” trip.

The destination will be either Blackcomb Backcountry or the Red Heather area, depending on group ability, weather, and snow conditions.
