Will use the standard winter approach via Lightning Lake, i.e. NOT the standard Mount Frosty trail. Some bushwhacking, hopefully not too much. There's a somewhat exposed ridge where, depending on the snow / ice condition, some may prefer to use crampons.
Bring warm clothes! Expect it to be windy and cold above the treeline.
Required gear: Snowshoes, headlamps, warm clothes and mitts and boots, shovel probe beacon, axe, crampons.
Will go at a determined, but moderate, pace. At least 8 hours, but probably longer. Hence the meetup will be very early.
Naturally, final go ahead decision will depend on Avalanche and weather forecasts.
