3 day ski traverse on the iconic Spearhead Traverse route.

Start at Blackcomb after loading first gondola, 3 days / 2 nights across 13 glaciers and over 10 mountain passes. 35-40km overall with the possibility of skiing some lines. Finish down Singing Pass / Whistler Resort conditions permitting.

Essential equipment:

• Winter-rated camping gear including tent (sharing is caring)
• Proper clothing for all potential weather conditions
• Harness, rope and crevasse rescue gear
• Transceiver (new batteries), shovel, probe
• Boot and ski crampons
• Headlamp, extra batteries, first aid kit, food for 4 days, water bottle, stove etc

Essential abilities:

• Strong skier in challenging terrain
• Moderate pace ability
• AST-1 minimum
• Ability to work in a team, collaborate and share decision making
