As ongoing website administrator and editor for the club, Francis Bailey is an active BCMC member that was awarded an expedition grant for 2025 for two separate trips. Francis explored the Ha-Iltzuk glacier in May, where he reached the top of 7 previously unclimbed peaks.  In July he ascended five previously unclimbed peaks around the Kapella headwaters.
Francis is an experienced mountaineer that has ascended 390 peaks to date in Canada and around the world.
