Easy climbing day at Murrin Park. Thinking to climb woodstock or other warm walls. 

This event is beginner-friendly, but you should know how to top-rope belay to join and have your own climbing shoes, harness, and helmet. The total number of people who can attend will depend on the number of ropes we get (max 3 people per rope). If you want to trad you must have existing trad experience and your own gear.

Meeting point will be a park and ride convenient or St Davids church to those who need to carpool. Planning to meet at Murrin Park by 10.30am and depart from the crag around 2-2.30pm to avoid traffic. Start/end times are flexible depending on interest. 

What to bring

            1          Climbing shoes.

            2          Harness.

            3          Helmet.

            4          Belay device.

            5          Food and snacks.

            6          At least 2 litre of water.

            7          Rope (optional).

            8          Quickdraws and anchor material. Trad gear. (optional).
