Mid-week trip to Washington to try to see the larches and fall colours in peak condition.
Please read all the details and be 100% committed to the trip before signing up - but also be aware that this trip requires good weather, so will go ahead "weather dependent".
Some flexibility in the trip, but expect to leave Vancouver very early Tuesday morning, and return very late Wednesday night.. Hike in to Cutthroat Pass area with overnight packs.
Option for quick hike to Blue Lake on the way out of Washington Pass on Wednesday, if time. This will be 2 full days.
We will not be looking to break speed records, however you will need to be fit and have a moderately fast speed to complete this trip. Lots of uphill. This is a remote wilderness area, with some off trail travel. You will need winter camping gear, could be below zero overnight.
*Must have Canadian Passport or a current visa waiver to attend this trip* Or can meet us across the border.
