Snow's starting to fall in the alpine! This peak is technically easy with a fair bit of scree to navigate. Views are stunning. Weather forecast is sunballs!
It is 11-12km round trip from the upper trailhead which my truck can get to. Elevation gain is 930m. I did it last year solo at an easy pace in 6hrs.
Required gear is the 10 essentials, warm layers and water. Recommended gear is decent hiking boots or shoes, and a pair of microspikes in case any ice has formed high on the ridge.
I'll have a satellite communicator and first aid stuff.
I can take 4 others in the truck.
