I have a spare spot on the West Coast Trail starting Tuesday 19th August. Looking to find someone to do the hike with me, unsure how long I'll spend on the trail, I have planned around it taking 7 days (which seems to be the most common), but I am happy to hike it slightly quicker.

I'm leaving from Vancouver on Sunday 17th August. I can either drive you from Vancouver, or we can meet at the trailhead. I'm planning to take the 4.30 pm ferry to Nanaimo and camp somewhere between Nanaimo and Port Alberni.

Monday, I will drive to the end of the trail (Pachena Bay) and catch the trail bus to the start (Port Renfrew) and camp there the night before starting.

I was planning to camp a night in Tofino on the way home, but I can skip this and head straight back to Vancouver.

Either own transport or split ferry/gas costs. I will transfer the WCT pass to your name at original cost of booking $207

If multiple people request to join, I might not pick the first person. I'll pick the best fit, so let me know in your response if you're happy to match my plans or suggest any changes.
