Beginner-friendly climbing in Electric Av in Chek Canyon. All levels welcomed. Electric Avenue is one of the best crags for beginners and offers a wide variety of climbs from the very easy (5.3) to hard (5.12)

This event is beginner-friendly, but you should know how to top-rope belay to join and have your own climbing shoes, harness, and helmet. The total number of people who can attend will depend on the number of ropes we get (max 3 people per rope).

What to bring

1. Climbing shoes.
2. Harness.
3. Helmet.
4. Belay device.
5. Food and snacks.
6. At least 2 litre of water.
7. Rope (optional).
8. Quickdraws and anchor material (optional).

Carpooling
We will meet at St David's United Church to organize carpooling at 4:00pm. The recommended payment for carpooling is $8 for the round trip. If you'd like to meet us in Murrin Park directly, please let me know.
