Marble Canyon is a stunning spot, with emerald-green lakes and towering limestone walls. It's a rare geological formation in BC; at some points, the canyon walls rise over 800 metres and stretch for kilometres. The limestone here is full of pockets and textured holds, which makes for super fun and varied climbing.
The area is best known for its long multi-pitch routes. Personally, I'm aiming to climb The Goat, a 19-pitch sport route that’s high on my list. Another famous one is Guaranteed Rugged, the longest sport multi-pitch in North America. If you’re not into all-day routes, there’s also plenty of single-pitch climbing throughout the canyon

Camping
There's a small provincial campground located between Turquoise and Crown Lake; from this campground, it is about one-minute drive to the parking spot that accesses the majority of the climbs. The campground has 30 non-serviced sites and runs on a first-come, first-served basis. Campsite reservations cannot be made. The campground operates on a self-registration system and only cash is accepted. Current camping rates are $18/night per camping party.
Getting There
Marble Canyon Provincial Park is a 4.5 hours drive from Vancouver. The closest towns are Lillooet and Cache of Creek. Both towns are aproximately 45 minutes drive from the canyon.
