This area has seen some attention recently and boasts good FSR travel, a flagged trail to alpine, numerous campsite options with outstanding views of glaciers and peaks and a couple scrambles easily within weekend range of Vancouver.

Day 1. Drive to trailhead and hike to camp at pass immediately SE of Little Ring (50.27645, -123.30703) drop gear & scramble up Little Ring from there:  ~ 7.5 km and ~1310 m gain TH to Little Ring summit.  Alternatively continue below pass and camp at large flat area between Little Ring and Numbers (50.29090, -123.30334)

Day 2. Hike Numbers Peak: ~9 km & 800 m return to camp SE of Little Ring.  Less if staying at the other camp mentioned.  Pack up camp and return to TH.

Logistics: I have a 4x4 and can take one other.  Any SUV can make it to the TH per recent reports.

Gear: Trekking poles and spikes in case of wet grass/heather on steeper slopes.  Not expecting any snow accumulation so axe and crampons are likely overkill at this point still.  Each participant is responsible for their own tenting, cooking, water filtration, food etc. gear unless you coordinate among yourselves.

Weather: Far too early to tell at this point, but if the forecast is crap on the chosen dates, the trip will be cancelled.
