BCMC is pleased to announce the 3rd round of the Training Program. This program aims to help BCMC members improve their fitness level in their chosen mountain sport and create a community of like-minded people that can support each other during the program.
BCMC has partnered with Evoke Endurance to provide these training plans and group Q&A sessions with a coach. As part of this program, you can purchase any of the Training Plans offered by Evoke Endurance and you can review them here -

There are about 20 training plans to choose from for Mountaineering, Climbing, Skiing, Trail Running, etc. The training plans are offered through Training Peaks platform (Basic account is free) and once you have purchased a training plan, you can use it multiple times. Please note that the training is not offered in-person or in a group setting. Members are expected to follow the training plan on their own. BCMC will have a WhatsApp group to answer any questions members might have. If we get enough participants (20+), we might be able to schedule a group Q&A session with an Evoke Endurance coach.

What's next?
Once the registration is complete, program coordinators will contact you by June 16 on training plan access and next steps. Tentatively, all participants will get access to the Training Plans starting June 16. Q&A sessions with Evoke Endurance coach (if we get enough participants to fund the Q&A) will be scheduled (typically in the evening) based on the availability of the coach. These Q&A sessions will be recorded and can be accessed later.
We will have a Zoom kick-off meeting the week of January 16..
